Carson Girls Softball is a non-profit organization committed to providing young ladies (ages 3 - 18) in the Carson City area the opportunity to play recreational fastpitch softball in an organized environment. Program goals are to teach girls the fundamentals of softball while promoting good sportsmanship and encouraging exercise and citizenship.

Nevada Junior Livestock Show & Sale

The purpose of the Nevada Junior Livestock Show is to provide an opportunity for the National FFA Organization (FFA), 4-H, youth Grange and Independent youth members to exhibit their livestock projects before the public; thus promoting and providing the incentive for achieving excellence in livestock production, skills and practices. Such achievement and participation in the Show encourages sportsmanship, leadership, citizenship and responsibility of the highest order in the members.
Hope on Wheels
Hyundai Hope on Wheels is a nonprofit organization that has been helping kids fight cancer for over two decades. Hyundai Hope on Wheels routinely donates millions of dollars to pediatric cancer research in the journey to finding a cure and more advanced treatments. When Carson City Hyundai sells a vehicle, a donation is made to fight cancer.

Carson High School is one of the top-ranked high schools in Nevada and works hard to support students in achieving their full potential.
Food for Thought
Since 2006, Food for Thought has been serving hungry children and helping get food to those who need it most. With support from the community, Food for Thought is able to provide nutritious food each week to chronically hungry children in local schools.
Holiday with a Hero
Holiday with a Hero helps provide underprivileged children in Carson City, NV, with a proper Christmas. Through donations, volunteers are able to purchase gifts for children in need and their families.
Merriner Cottages
It's not uncommon for cancer patients to travel to Carson City from out of town for treatment. Merriner Cottages provide cancer patients and their families with comfortable lodging in Carson City, NV, so they have a nearby place to rest while undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

Kiwanis Club of Carson City
The 8th Annual Pancreatic Cancer Golf Tournament. Kiwanis Club of Carson City's event has raised over $90,000 toward the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and another $30,000 toward the Marilyn Elain Academic Scholarship.
Austin’s House
Since 2007, Austin’s House has provided emergency shelter and compassionate care for children in Northern Nevada who have been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. We provide care to both boys and girls between the ages of birth to 18 until they are either reunited with their family or an appropriate long term placement is made.
All Stars Helping Kids
All Stars Helping Kids Ensures youth in low-income and marginalized communities have access to quality education and the support needed to go on to college, the skills and resources they need not just to get a job but a career, and that they can stay healthy in body and mind.

VRWPA engages in educational, scientific, developmental and range management activities, and on matters pertaining to the environment and the preservation of wildlife habitat. This organization is organized exclusively for the charitable purposes.
